• The following activities were completed for this week: installation of subgrade and fine grading for the roadway and sidewalk; installation of brick gutter and granite curb; installation of streetlight conduit, manhole and pole foundation at the 9th Street intersection (southeast corner); and installation of sidewalk and wheelchair ramp.

PLEASE NOTE:

• Due to construction, there is no parking on Monroe Street from 7th - 8th Street NE.

• Signs directing motorist and bicyclist have been posted. Please stay alert and obey signage when traveling through this area.

• The following activities were completed for this week: installation of subgrade and fine grading for the roadway and sidewalk; streetlight conduit and manhole installation at the 8th Street intersection (SE corner); placed concrete for the bridge parapet end treatment form and rebar installation at both ends; and forming and installation of PCC base from the east approach slab to the 9th Street intersection.

• The following activities were completed for this week: placed parapet concrete (south side); backfilling of trench and installation of 4-way streetlight conduit and duct bank at 8th Street intersection (Southeast corner); excavation of hard surface, subgrade installation, resetting of manhole frame and fine grading for the roadway and sidewalk.

• The following activities were completed for this week: continued subbase installation and compaction for the approach slab and sidewalk; continued rebar and form installation for the bridge parapet and east approach slab; continued 6-way Pepco conduit and duct bank installation between the west approach slab and 8th Street NW on Monroe Street; and placed the concrete at the east approach slab.
