Sunday January 28, 2018 - Friday February 2, 2018:

• The contractor worked (Night Shift) at the North Side of Monroe St Bridge NE within the construction zone, installing Utility Protection Shield in Span 2 over WMATA bay. The contractor also worked on removing the deck overlay and drilling for rigging in preparation for lifting of concrete boxes at the North Side of Monroe Street Bridge NE within the construction zone. All traffic maintained with two open-lanes eastbound and westbound.

Saturday February 3, 2018: 

• The contractor will be working on removing the deck overlay at the North Side of Monroe Street Bridge NE within the construction zone.

PLEASE NOTE:

• There will be night work within the construction zone. Maintenance of Traffic will remain the same.
• Due to construction, there is no parking on Monroe Street from 7th – 8th Street NE.
• Signs directing motorist and bicyclist have been posted. Please stay alert and obey signage when traveling through this area.

All traffic maintained with two open lanes eastbound and westbound.

The contractor worked at the west side of Monroe Street and 8th Street NE, connecting and encasing 8-way fiber glass conduits from the Street to the existing Pepco manhole west vault. All traffic maintained with two open-lanes eastbound and westbound.
