• The following activities were completed for this week: installation of bridge fence on the southwest retaining wall; removal of phase 2 deck wood form; paint touch up, fence installation, scaffolding removal and clean up under spans 1 to 3; installation of electrical cable for streetlights and traffic signals; and poured sidewalk concrete at east and west approaches. The contractor also worked during the night time hours of 9:00 pm to 5:30 am Monday through Friday. ·       ,

• The following activities were completed for this week: bioretention and excavation for curb installation on 8th Street near Lawrence Street; removal of phase 2 deck wood form; paint touch up and cleaning under spans 1 to 3; installation of expansion dam joint seal at west and east abutments; installation of granite curb and light pole foundationon 8th Street near Lawrence Street; installation of barb wire fence on crash wall at piers 1 & 2; and poured light pole foundation on 8th Street near Lawrence Street. The contractor also worked during the night time hours of 9:00 pm to 5:30 am Monday through Friday.

• The following activities were completed for this week: removal of south side overhang forms from spans 1 to 3; form installation for the bioretention concrete wall between the sidewalk on 8th Street (Lawrence Street to Monroe Street); removal of two existing wood poles between east approach slab and the 9th Street intersection by Pepco; excavation of trench and conduit installation for the traffic signal work at the 9th Street intersection and traffic signal work at 8th Street and 9th Street on Monroe Street. The contractor also worked during the night time hours of 9:00 pm to 5:30 am Monday through Friday.
